The first step in the adoption process is to complete an online Potential Adopter Form (see link to our national rescue form below). We receive applications from residents of MA, RI, VT, NH and ME. If you reside in another state, your application will automatically be forwarded to a volunteer within your home state. When filling out the form, please answer all questions as thoroughly as possible. You must include your current or prior veterinarian's name, location and phone number. Once received, your application will be reviewed by a rescue coordinator, and you will be contacted via e-mail and/or phone.

Your application must be approved in order to be referred for adoption for any dog in our care. The general range for adoption donations is $150 - $350, and is determined on a case-by-case basis. All funds received are used to benefit future rescue GSPs (food, shelter, medical care, etc.).
